About The Position

This position is responsible for supervising valet staff and ensuring courteous and efficient reception and greeting of all guests, as well as the safety of guests and their vehicles, staff, and pedestrians. Tasks may include welcoming guests, ensuring all employees comply with health, safety, and sanitation standards, making sure that all applicable policies and procedures are being followed, and ensuring the efficiency of the parking garage services to drive guests' vehicles back and forth from the parking garage to the hotel complex in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated commitment and passion to maximizing guest satisfaction in each stage of the guest experience, particularly as they pertain to exceptional standards of customer service, cleanliness and order.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional composure at all times, while performing multiple tasks among staff, multiple guests/multiple items/products; Employs persuasion and influence to initiate and/or resolve matters; Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Approachable: Establishes immediate credibility with guests and staff – leads all staff by example
  • Demonstrates personal involvement and supervision to ensure the workplace is safe for all guests and staff. Enforces all health and safety/sanitation standards.
  • Outstanding attention to detail – both personal grooming/appearance, recognizing guest and employee needs, vehicle delivery and ensuring policy and procedure standards are maintained at all times
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/supervise a large team of operating staff. Sets high priorities/ standards, and demonstrates urgency to achieve critical goals and objectives;
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a setting to anticipate and assist to another Associate’s guest’s needs.
  • Ability to quickly respond to changing work volume; high -energy level/speed.
  • Valid drivers license with no driving violations.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e., lift up to 50 lbs.).
  • Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
