About The Position

Greeting and receiving customers with the highest quality customer service. Responsibilities include parking guest cars, assisting with luggage and belongings, and providing transportation in the Company vehicle. After parking the vehicle, the valet attendant will run back to their station and be prepared to assist the next patron. There are two different Valet Station locations, and our Valet associates may be scheduled at either location. Provides gracious and professional service in an efficient manner. Perform all job duties toward the goal of maximizing guest service. Conduct oneself in a professional manner with the awareness that all actions and communications are within a guest’s view. Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards. Responds graciously to guest service issues and reports the situation to management. Always ensure that safety is first. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time.

Requirements

• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR)
• Able to drive stick shift transmission.
• Able to drive all types of vehicles.
• Thorough knowledge of local areas and roads.
• 3 years’ experience driving vehicles.
• Strong understanding of the English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Comfortable, closed toe, non-skid shoes.
• Must have a clean driving record and have reached nineteenth (19th) birthday
• With no more than one moving violation over a 2-year period
• Must pass annual MVR screen.

Responsibilities

• Directs traffic of vehicles at hotel or restaurant entrance.
• Secures taxis/transportation for guests/visitors.
• Assists guests with luggage.
• Park and secure guest vehicles. Safely and securely park the guest car and provide the fastest possible return time.
• Responsible for recording the guest’s information on the valet ticket and the location/parking spot the car was parked. Must use the correct color of ticket (white for hotel, green for restaurant and blue for event) and properly advise the guest of any associated charge.
• Returns rental vehicles for guests.
• Completes errands/deliveries for guests.
• Answers questions about the hotel or restaurant, and surrounding areas.
• Transports guests to various areas in the Company vehicle within a 5-mile radius of the hotel.
