Valet Parking Attendant – Hospitality, Care & Community! Looking for a fast-paced role where your service genuinely brightens someone’s day? Join our team as a Valet Parking Attendant at The Summit, Lynchburg’s premier retirement community! As the first friendly face residents, family members, and visitors see, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and vibrant environment every time cars roll up to our main entrance.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license with a safe, clean driving record.
• A patient, warm, and respectful personality with top-tier customer service skills.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles (both automatic and manual transmission).
• Ability to walk, stand, and move efficiently outdoors throughout your shift.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least 18 years of age
• 2+ years of driving experience
• Valid drivers license
• Acceptable driving record
• Good customer service skills
• Friendly and outgoing
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Adhere to all regulatory, company and departmental policies and procedures
• Must project professionalism
• Professional appearance; neatly groomed (no visible tattoos)
• Must be able to jog, walk and stand for long periods of time (8-9 hours)
• Must be able to respond calmly and professionally when handling conflicts
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Demonstrated stable, punctual work history

Responsibilities

• Offer a gracious, respectful, and energetic greeting to residents, guests, and senior community visitors.
• Carefully park and retrieve vehicles for residents and visitors with a strong commitment to safety and attentiveness.
• Offer a helping hand with doors, packages, walkers, or groceries when needed.
• Keep the main valet drop-off area smooth, clear, organized, and running seamlessly.
