About The Position

Responsible for providing a personal vehicle parking and retrieval service for guests while offering excellent customer service. Valet attendants stand in front of the location, obtain keys from drivers, help with any items or luggage, maintain wheelchair availability, and then drive the vehicle to a parking lot, or parking space near the establishment. When the vehicle owner returns, valets retrieve the vehicle, and helps the owner into their vehicle.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License & clean MVR (driving record)
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Possess valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a 7 year / 7 county criminal background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening
• Must be able to perform basic math without use of a calculator
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
• Must follow appropriate grooming standards
• Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
• Must be able to speak clearly to convey detailed information/instructions to coworkers accurately, clearly, and quickly

Nice To Haves

• Previous customer service experience is preferred
• The ability to drive a standard transmission is preferred

Responsibilities

• Park and retrieve vehicles
• Greet customers in a courteous manner
• Manage parking area (barricades, directing traffic, etc.)
• Manage wheelchair inventory to ensure availability for guests
• Hand out claim tickets
• Manage keys
• Assist immediate team members with other duties as assigned
