About The Position

Royal Parking, Inc. is hiring Valet Parking Attendants for our busy wedding, special event, and holiday season. We have a packed event calendar and are looking for energetic, dependable people who enjoy working with guests, staying active, and driving a variety of different vehicles. This is a great fit for those who love cars and are looking for a flexible way to make extra money. Our valet attendants work weddings, private parties, corporate events, restaurants, and other special events throughout the Triangle. In addition to hourly pay, valets have the opportunity to earn tips. Most of our valets average approximately $12–$30 per hour in total earnings, depending on the service level, event, shift, and tips received.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Enjoy driving and be confident behind the wheel of different types and sizes of vehicles
• Be comfortable getting in and out of vehicles frequently
• Be able to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
• Be available for evening and weekend shifts
• Have reliable transportation to and from work locations
• Be punctual, dependable, and well-groomed
• Have a positive attitude and excellent customer-service skills
• Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Safely driving, parking, and retrieving a variety of vehicles
• Managing keys and maintaining an organized valet area
• Assisting guests as they arrive and depart
• Working with your valet team to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service throughout the event
