We are seeking a Valet Parker to join our team. As a key member of the Eau Resort & Spa team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. The Valet will be responsible for driving, parking and retrieving guest/visitor vehicles as they arrive and depart from the hotel, courteously, safely and efficiently according to the hotel's standards. Additional responsibilities may include, but not limited to, welcoming guests and giving a fond farewell, assisting with guests' luggage, providing directions and any other guest related assistance. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM), and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Requirements

  • Valid Florida driver’s license with clear driving record.
  • Excellent driving record including zero moving violations within the past 6 months.
  • Experience driving all vehicle types.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, visitors, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
  • Responsible, safe and conscientious driver.
  • Ability to understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
  • Ability to use a radio/beeper.
  • Ability to focus on guests' needs.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and think clearly under all driving conditions.
  • Ability to exert physical effort in placing and removing luggage into/out of a vehicle.
  • Ability to endure abundant physical movements in performing job functions.
  • Ability to work in variable weather conditions.
  • Ability to remain at post.
  • Ability to perform assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
  • Prior training in guest relations.

Responsibilities

  • Driving, parking and retrieving guest/visitor vehicles as they arrive and depart from the hotel, courteously, safely and efficiently according to the hotel's standards.
