About The Position

Oversee and manage all day-to-day valet operations at Ponce City Market, ensuring safe, professional, and efficient service. Directly supervise valet attendants and support staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Serve as the primary point of contact for guest relations and tenant coordination related to valet and parking services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years of valet or parking operations experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
  • High school diploma required
  • Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with current address and exceptional driving record
  • Experience with cash handling, and basic financial reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with guests, tenants, and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
  • Able to respond and interact with guests in a positive manner to inspire enjoyment of their experience
  • Available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally required to drive, park, and retrieve vehicles
  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Create, publish, and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure adequate valet coverage during all operating hours
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate valet attendants and support staff
  • Respond to and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
  • Serve as the primary liaison with Ponce City Market property management and tenants regarding valet operations
  • Coordinate valet service for tenant events, promotions, and special property requests
  • Manage daily cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation of valet revenue
  • Track and report key performance metrics (revenue, ticket counts, staffing costs) to senior management
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and claims, and oversee the resolution process
  • Monitor and maintain quality of key control, ticketing systems, and vehicle handling procedures
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and ongoing training on service standards and safety procedures
  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of valet stands, podiums, and staging areas
  • Address staff performance issues, including coaching, corrective action, and disciplinary measures as needed
  • Assist with any additional tasks that may arise or be assigned by senior management
