The Valet Lead will exemplify and promote Muckleshoot Casino Resort (MCR)’s vision, mission, and values by demonstrating professionalism and delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves greeting guests warmly, maintaining a professional image, and engaging with a positive demeanor, while also assisting elderly and disabled guests as needed. The Valet Lead will ensure guest issues are handled promptly and resolved to achieve satisfaction within established guidelines. They will provide accurate directions and recommend alternative transportation solutions for intoxicated guests in accordance with policies. Responsibilities include writing legible claim checks, documenting prior vehicle damage, and ensuring the security of vehicles and keys. The Valet Lead will operate all types of passenger vehicles with standard and automatic transmission, and park and retrieve guests’ vehicles promptly, ensuring safety and care. Additionally, this role involves instructing, training, and coaching team members on responsibilities, expectations, and departmental standards, as well as assigning job tasks to Valet Parking Attendants and monitoring their performance to ensure a sense of urgency and high productivity. The Valet Lead will implement and enforce departmental procedures for efficient, safe, and secure operations, and maintain and review tracking and logging processes to monitor productivity, capacity, and vehicle statistics. Promoting a positive and safe work environment by reporting hazards and accidents immediately to management, encouraging high performance standards, and fostering a positive work culture are key aspects of this position. The Valet Lead will contribute to departmental meetings and assist in developing and implementing departmental goals and objectives, as well as assist with scheduling and making necessary alterations to meet operational needs. Tracking gratuities, schedule adherence, and inspection results using Microsoft Office tools, and ensuring departmental supplies are maintained at appropriate levels are also required. The Valet Lead must ensure attendants maintain a sense of urgency, jogging to and from vehicles as necessary, and maintain a positive attitude while providing services in extreme weather conditions. Conducting departmental inspections, communicating findings to management, and supporting initiatives to improve team member experience and guest survey ratings are also part of the role. Additional tasks may be assigned by management.
