About The Position

Responsible for the safe operation and transport of customer vehicles on company property, in accordance with established policies, procedures, and controls. This role requires excellent customer service, prompt and courteous assistance to customers during valet check-in and checkout, and meeting established time standards for parking and retrieval of guest vehicles. The Valet Driver will run (not walk) for all pick-ups from the Valet lot (weather conditions permitting), park vehicles in designated areas, and accurately record vehicle locations. Effective communication with the Lead Valet Attendant and prompt clearing of the valet drop-off area are essential. The role also involves presenting a clean and neat appearance in the designated Valet uniform, ensuring a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction, and maintaining departmental records. A working knowledge of company facilities and special events is necessary to assist customers and team members. Additionally, the Valet Driver may drive a shuttle van and assist at the Bell Desk, and is responsible for consistent attendance and fulfilling any reasonable request from management.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license from the State.
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Physical endurance and stamina required.
  • Effective communication skills required.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Ability to relate effectively in one-on-one situations with customers and other Team Members of company.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; run; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Ensure a maximum level of customer service and satisfaction is achieved and maintained.
  • Ensure accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of company facilities, as well as special events on property.
  • Drive shuttle van and shuttle with no more passengers than license allows.
  • Assist if needed at Bell Desk.
  • Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • Fulfill any reasonable request made by management.
