Valet Driver
About The Position
Sloane Toyota Glenside has immediate openings for part-time or full-time Valet staff positions within our service department. This is a great opportunity for college or trade school students; adults looking for a job with morning hours to be home in the afternoon, and anyone looking for an entry into the automotive industry. Our valet staff greet our customers upon arrival to the dealership and handle the intake process of parking customer vehicles and retrieving them upon customer departure. Our valets work within our service department and are a special point of contact to our customers.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Prior automotive experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests
- Be friendly and customer service focused!
- Parallel and reverse park cars
- Deliver vehicles to and from guests efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Be reliable
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time as well as work outside and inside
- Do other duties as assigned; general housekeeping
