About The Position
This role involves greeting, welcoming, and transporting hospital patients and their family members to various locations within the hospital and to outlying areas. The primary focus is on providing caring, considerate, expedient, and professional transportation services while ensuring patient identification and demonstrating compassion and respect in all interactions.
Requirements
- Must ensure patient identification bracelet is on patients before transporting patients.
- Must demonstrate compassion and respect in all contacts with patients, family, and fellow employees at all times.
Responsibilities
- Greet, welcome, and transport hospital patients and family members to their rooms, ancillary areas, and outlying locations as needed.
- Transport patients to and from designated areas of the hospital and to outlying locations in a caring, considerate, expedient, and professional manner.
- Ensure patient identification bracelets are on patients before transporting them.
- Demonstrate compassion and respect in all contacts with patients, family, and fellow employees.
