About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Valet Captains for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. The Valet Captain will be responsible for cheerfully greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and in a timely manner, and potentially performing cashier duties. This role involves explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures, inspecting vehicles, maintaining company uniform appearance, and resolving guest issues. The position requires being outside and active most of the day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs. Additional tasks may include small cleaning or maintenance duties. The Valet Captain will also guide and supervise other parking valets, ensure vehicles and keys are organized, open vehicle doors for guests, assist with luggage, issue receipts, report any accidents or policy violations, maintain a neat and orderly location, and provide excellent customer service. A pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to adapt to minimal to moderate noise levels.
• Valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
• Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
• Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
• Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
• Perform cashier duties as needed.
• Explain parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
• Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
• Maintain company uniform appearance.
• Resolve issues and be a pleasure to be with.
• Be outside and active most of your day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects as requested by local management.
• Issue tickets to customers upon arrival.
• Guide and supervise other parking valets.
• Ensure all vehicles and keys are organized and in appropriate areas.
• Open all vehicle doors for guests and assist with luggage when necessary.
• Open building doors for guests if applicable.
• Issue receipts upon customer's exit, as applicable.
• Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the local manager.
• Maintain a neat and orderly location, free of debris and trash, with clean windows.
• Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking each customer upon exit.
• Assist customers with directions and other inquiries.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
• Always maintain a neat and clean appearance in adherence to company standards.
• Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.
