About The Position

Propark Mobility is currently hiring Valet Captains for full-time opportunities to start immediately. The role involves cheerfully greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and timely, potentially performing cashier duties, explaining parking rates, inspecting vehicles, maintaining company uniform appearance, resolving issues, and being an all-around pleasure to be with. The position requires being outside and active most of the day, standing, walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs. You may also be asked to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects. Responsibilities include issuing tickets, guiding and supervising other parking valets, ensuring vehicles and keys are organized, opening vehicle doors for guests, assisting with luggage, opening building doors, issuing receipts, reporting accidents or violations, inspecting vehicles, maintaining an orderly location, and providing excellent customer service. You will also assist customers with directions and other inquiries, maintain a pleasant and professional demeanor, and adhere to company appearance standards. Any known accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences must be reported to the local manager in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned based on operational needs.

Requirements

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to adapt to minimal to moderate noise levels
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Responsibilities

  • Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
  • May be asked to perform cashier duties.
  • Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
  • Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
  • Maintain the company uniform appearance, cheerfully greeting and thanking guests, resolving issues, and being an all-around pleasure to be with.
  • Be outside and active most of your day, standing walking, and sometimes helping with items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects.
  • Issue ticket to customer upon arrival.
  • Help the management team to guide and supervise the other parking valets.
  • Park and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival.
  • Ensure all vehicles and keys are organized and in appropriate areas.
  • Open all vehicle doors for guests.
  • Assist with luggage when necessary.
  • Open building doors for guests if applicable.
  • Issue receipts upon customer's exit, as applicable.
  • Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the local manager.
  • Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company’s standard valet operating procedures.
  • Always maintain a neat and orderly location, free of debris and trash, with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.
  • Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking each customer upon exit.
  • Assist customers with directions, and other inquiries.
  • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.
  • Always maintain a neat and clean appearance in adherence to company standards.
  • Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the local manager in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties as assigned based on operational needs.
