About The Position

Nemacolin is seeking to fill a key position in our Guest Services department that will help oversee all personal needs of our guests at The Grand Lodge. The Valet Attendant will be responsible for assisting guests in a variety of functions upon their arrival or departure to provide a top quality guest experience. Additionally, the Valet Attendant will be responsible for keeping their designated areas clean and safe while prioritizing guest needs at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to our guests as they arrive or leave the resort.
  • Provide knowledge or directions for guests arriving.
  • Ensure hotel/resort safety and security for our guests.
  • Greet and make eye contact with passing guests.
  • Stand in posted position presenting a polite, professional image, awaiting guest requests.
  • Provide information regarding all facilities and services.
  • Always maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
  • Opening doors for our guests as they arrive or leave.
  • Addressing guests' needs and maintaining positive relationships to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Utilizing Forbes standards during all in-person and phone communication.
  • Ensuring that guests' requests are addressed in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Other Job duties assigned.
