Valet Attendant - The Edition - Miami Beach
About The Position
SP+ is an artificial intelligence company for the real world, using computer vision to enable checkout-free parking experiences. They are the largest parking network in America and are reinventing parking to make everyday experiences remarkable by giving back time. This role is for a Valet Attendant at The Edition in Miami Beach, with open availability and a pay rate of $11.00/hr + tips. English fluency is a must, and Spanish bilingualism is a plus. The company is looking for individuals who enjoy working with people and offers a fast-paced, exciting work environment with a supportive team.
Requirements
- A valid state driver’s license with a current address and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to read, write, and respond professionally to customers and co-workers.
- English fluency is a must.
- Must provide valid documentation to work legally in the U.S. if hired.
- Ability to follow instructions and stay calm during changes, delays, or unexpected events.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment for long periods.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Must remain alert and professional while working in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a Valet Attendant is a PLUS.
- Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift) is a strong plus!
- Flexible schedule to work special shifts as needed, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends.
Responsibilities
- Resolve client requests and concerns efficiently, finding creative ways to solve any problems that arise.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist guests with directions.
- Clearly explain valet rates and procedures to all customers.
- Carefully inspect every vehicle before parking it, noting and reporting any findings.
- Strictly observe all traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Immediately report any accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations to management.
- Arrive on time for every scheduled shift, ready to work.
- Maintain a clean, complete uniform for the entire duration of your shift.
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned to ensure a smooth operation.
