About The Position

The Valet Parking Attendant ("Atendiente de Estacionamiento") creates a strong sense of arrival for hotel, restaurant, and banquet guests by welcoming them to the hotel and safely parking their car in the hotel's valet parking areas. Assist Door Staff when not parking cars and ensure swift departures by retrieving guest vehicles promptly. Proactively provide personal service that exceeds guest expectations.

Requirements

At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training. A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
For insurance purposes, candidates must be over 21 years of age.
Must be able to drive all vehicle types.
Ability to drive both manual and automatic.
Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely drive and park guest vehicles in hotel garage areas, adhering to all traffic regulations.
Assess and document vehicle condition, noting any damage on claim tickets.
Store and secure vehicle keys responsibly.
Open hotel doors and provide a friendly welcome when not parking or retrieving vehicles.
Assist guests with luggage and golf clubs, providing temporary secure storage.
Perform bell duties, including handling luggage, escorting guests to rooms, and providing general guest assistance.
Answer phones professionally and courteously.
Schedule and arrange transportation for guests.
Inform guests about local activities and amenities enthusiastically.
Collaborate with all departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
