About The Position
The Valet Attendant provides guest services as part of the guest welcome and farewell process and safely moves vehicles to and from the garage upon request. The position requires a professional appearance and demeanor, effective communication in English, and the ability to meet the listed physical demands. This is a non-exempt, hourly position based in Truckee, California. The posting states an hourly wage of $17.00. Eligible employees may participate in various benefits plans.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English in written and/or oral forms.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to sprint short distances.
- Ability to stand for long periods, up to 6 or 8 hours with breaks.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
- Ability to work in extreme elements, including heat, wind, snow, and rain.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to drive a manual transmission (stick shift).
Responsibilities
