About The Position

As a Valet Attendant, you are the first impression and the final goodbye for guests, creating a welcoming and professional experience. This role involves safely and efficiently parking and retrieving vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service with energy, confidence, and attention to detail. It's an active role, often outdoors, involving interaction with people in a fast-paced hospitality environment, offering competitive pay plus tips and the chance to build customer service skills. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Customer service attitude and a willing, helpful demeanor is mandatory.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than three moving violations within a three-year period.
  • Pass and maintain a clean background check.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to follow instructions, maintain work schedules, and ensure timely task completion.
  • Adherence to safety procedures, taking appropriate action when needed, and reporting unsafe conditions.
  • Properly using and maintaining equipment to ensure workplace efficiency and safety.
  • Stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to use computers and communicate by phone.
  • Ability to operate in environments that may be noisy and include moving vehicles and exposure to the elements.
  • May be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication and accessing work applications.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle damage inspections and document parking locations on claim tickets.
  • Safely and efficiently park and retrieve guest vehicles while adhering to proper key handling procedures.
  • Follow all safety protocols to maintain personal and vehicle security.
  • Maintain compliance with attendance and timekeeping policies, including clocking in/out for shifts and breaks and accurately reporting tips.
  • Keep valet areas clean, organized, and presentable always.
  • Handle challenging situations with professionalism, resolve problems promptly, and ensure high-quality service.
  • Balance individual responsibilities while fostering a positive team environment, supporting colleagues, and recognizing team accomplishments.
  • Maintain regular attendance, adhere to company policies, and uphold standards for safe and efficient parking operations.
  • Arrive on time, in full uniform, and properly groomed before clocking in.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the company’s operational goals, while remaining flexible and responsive to changing business needs.
  • Attend required staff meetings and complete all assigned training modules on time.
