About The Position

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient valet services to guests arriving at and departing from the casino. This role includes safely parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring a positive first and last impression of the property. The valet attendant must maintain a professional appearance and attitude while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will directly report to the Valet Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Must have neat and legible handwriting.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles and transport guests in a safe manner.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and a team player with energy.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous valet/transportation experience preferred.
  • California Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and departure with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Managing the handheld device used with our Valet Electronic System.
  • Recording any damage that exists on the guest's automobile prior to accepting and parking the vehicle.
  • Properly and accurately parking the guests' vehicles in the correct parking lot spaces.
  • Locking guests' vehicles and correctly securing the keys.
  • Keeping the driveway clear of any cars that need to be parked.
  • Returning the car to the guest in a prompt manner and in the same condition it was in when the guest left it.
  • Transporting guests in company vehicles as assigned.
  • Reporting any incidents, damage, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
