About The Position

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to each and every guest while maintaining a sense of urgency at all times. They will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills. Responsible for maintaining the Wynn standards of service with guests and coworkers at all times. Responsible for delivering and maintaining the Forbes 5-Star level of service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years customer service experience.
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to do extensive jogging, walking, standing, bending and lifting.
  • Knowledgeable about the Las Vegas area and attractions.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may change based on business demands.
  • Open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching guest and coworkers.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well groomed and professional appearance.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding.
  • Available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts.
  • Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Front Services experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Additional foreign language is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and providing parking assistance to all arriving guests.
  • Maintaining a sense of urgency at all times while servicing the guest in a timely manner.
  • Operating and parking guests’ cars safely.
  • Reporting issues and/or potential problems to immediate supervisor.
  • Ensuring the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.
  • Working with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
  • Adhering to Wynn and departmental policies and procedures, embracing company culture and taking pride in the resort and amenities.
  • Understanding and being well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests.
  • Attending required training classes and incorporating new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
  • Looking for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Being solution oriented, staying on task and promoting teamwork.
  • Maintaining awareness of guest experience at all times, smiling and making eye contact and communicating professionally.
  • Performing all other job related duties as assigned.
