About The Position

The Vacuum Truck Operator will work with the Vacuum Truck Services team to provide exceptional service to our clients. Services provided include hydro excavating, confined space entry, spill cleanup, line flushing, power washing, water hauling, and loading and hauling of various fluids/material. Requirements

Valid CDL A and 1+ years of industrial vacuum truck/tanker experience.
Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements required.
Willingness to accept after-hour calls when necessary, with some short-term travel and overnight stays required.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Nice To Haves

Valid safety tickets such as First Aid/CPR, Construction Safety Training (CSTS), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), and H2S Alive are considered assets.

Responsibilities

Safely operate vacuum equipment in an industrial setting, adhering to company policies, procedures, and on-site requirements.
Provide exceptional service to clients, professionally representing GFL, and maintain detailed, accurate company documentation.
Complete daily equipment pre-trips, driver logs for NSC compliance, and participate in safety programs like meetings, near miss reporting, and job hazard assessments.
Work independently, manage time and productivity efficiently, and communicate effectively.
