About The Position

Responsible for driving Vac Trailer for pumping and bulk hauling to landfills. This role involves operating and maintaining HY VAC equipment and vehicles, executing jobs assigned by the Dispatcher (which may include occasional overnight and out-of-town jobs), and communicating job status to the Dispatcher and Project Manager. The position requires completion and submission of service paperwork, diagnosing and troubleshooting job-related problems, and responding to trouble/emergency calls promptly. Adherence to all Wind River Environmental service protocols, safety rules, and safe work practices is essential. The operator must understand and comply with DOT and DEP regulations, protect the environment through spill prevention and proper waste management, and engage in ongoing technical learning and development. Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating HY VAC equipment and vehicles
  • CDL License (Class B) with at least one year of commercial driving experience
  • Provide "on call" service on a rotating schedule

Responsibilities

  • Properly operate and maintain HY VAC equipment and vehicles

  • Respond to trouble/emergency calls in a timely manner
  • Follow all Wind River Environmental service protocols

  • Understand and comply with DOT and DEP regulations as they pertain to your job
  • Protect the environment by having an awareness of spill protection, proper waste acceptance, disposal, and treatment, as well as emergency response procedures.
