About The Position

The Vacuum Technician at 3B DOZER SERVICE LLC operates specialized heavy equipment to perform safe and efficient excavation, debris removal, and site cleaning using high-pressure air or water systems. The position supports industrial and construction operations, with an emphasis on safety, equipment maintenance, and effective waste management. The work includes outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions, lifting items up to 75 pounds, standing for extended periods, and entering confined spaces as required by job sites. The technician works with team members to meet project goals safely and efficiently.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift heavy items, often up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Experience working in confined spaces.
Understanding of basic hydraulics and pressure systems.
Expertise in operating high-pressure water or air systems.
Ability to inspect work sites for hazards and establish safety perimeters.
Competence in using personal protective equipment (PPE).
Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA and MSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in utility, excavation, or construction.
Experience inspecting, setting up, and maintaining vacuum trucks, pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
Skills in proper containment and disposal of excavated material and hazardous waste.

Responsibilities

Operate vacuum trucks and other specialized heavy equipment to excavate soil and remove debris from industrial sites.
Use high-pressure air or water systems for cleaning and excavation tasks.
Conduct daily inspections, setup, and maintenance of vacuum trucks, pumps, hoses, and nozzles.
Inspect work sites for potential hazards and establish safety perimeters to protect personnel and equipment.
Follow OSHA and MSHA regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to safety protocols.
Contain and dispose of excavated material and hazardous waste in compliance with environmental regulations.
Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift heavy items up to 75 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Work in confined spaces as required by specific job sites.
Maintain a valid driver's license and apply knowledge of basic hydraulics and pressure systems.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to meet project goals safely and efficiently.
