About The Position

Custom Seafoods Processors, Inc. has been processing sport-caught fish and wild game on the Kenai Peninsula for 30 years. Within our 12,000 square foot facility, we can handle the influx of sport-caught fish as well as process a variety of fish species to serve the wholesale market simultaneously. We are looking for driven, highly motivated individuals to join our team and help us continue to be the preferred seafood processor on the peninsula. The Vacuum Sealer position is responsible for all activities involving bagging and racking of product according to customer specifications. Vacuum Sealers must accurately and consistently read and comprehend order details. Team members will also be required to participate in plant clean-up and other similar or related duties as requested or assigned. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects and stand for long periods of time. Overtime and weekends required.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Excellent active listening skills.
Ability to work while standing for extended periods and while making repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back, frequent rotations and twisting, and bending at the waist.
Regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds.
Flexibility Required. Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, long shifts, overtime, and late-night shifts.
