ATA Services is looking to hire a Vaccine Purchasing Act (VPA) Reporting Support clerk. This job is part time and is in office, it is NOT remote. The New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance (OSI) administers reporting requirements under the Vaccine Purchasing Act (VPA), which requires health insurers and group health plans to annually report the number of insured children covered in New Mexico. The data collected through this process is used by the New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) to calculate each entity’s share of vaccine purchasing costs under the statewide vaccine purchasing program. The VPA reporting cycle requires significant coordination with reporting entities, technical assistance during submissions, verification of reported data, and follow-up with organizations that fail to report or submit incomplete information. These activities require timely communication with reporters, research into reporting discrepancies, and coordination between OSI and DOH. The contractor will provide administrative, research, and coordination support to assist OSI in managing the annual Vaccine Purchasing Act reporting process. The contractor will support communication with reporting entities, assist in addressing reporter inquiries, track reporting submissions, and coordinate follow-up activities to improve reporting compliance and data quality. The contractor will work under the direction of OSI and coordinate with relevant OSI and DOH staff as necessary.
