About The Position

The Greeter works with popular local ports, and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public as a brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure. In this sales-based role, engage in face-to-face conversations with prospective customers and share information about the vacation club experience. Invites and incentivizes guests to attend award-winning vacation ownership presentations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
  • Sales-minded professionalism.
  • Hospitality, sales, or marketing experience.
  • Ability to overcome challenges and objections.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Travel + Leisure
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Assist in promoting and selling vacation packages in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals.
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually.
