About The Position

The Vacation Relief moves around the production floor, performing various production operation duties to relieve primary operators during lunches, breaks, or vacations.

Requirements

• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Minimum age: 18
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
• Basic computer skills with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with a ten-key calculator.
• Previous experience with data entry.
• Ability to work well with numbers.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Coachable and willing to learn.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math calculations.
• Effective time management skills to achieve results through prioritizing demands.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills and effective decision-making skills.
• Strong attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate proficiency in essential tasks and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Giving 15-minute breaks to machine operators.
• Relieving the raw milk receiver and finishing sampling and receiving raw ingredient tankers.
• Cleaning the raw receiving bay after receiving is finished.
• Maintaining the dry storage and chemical storage areas (unloading and/or stocking all materials and keeping the areas clean).
• Making carboard bales and compacting recycled materials.
• Stocking and maintaining the supplies storage closet.
• Giving 30-minute lunch breaks to machine operators.
• Filling in for various positions as needs arise.
• Other duties assigned by management.
