About The Position

The Vacation Relief employee must know and understand every job in the packaging department and be able to run all equipment efficiently. This employee covers packaging department positions when employees are on vacation and is assigned to the packaging line when not covering vacations. Hours may vary from day to day, and days off may vary from week to week. The role requires following USDA, GMP, safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures while maintaining a clean, orderly, and neat work area and respecting the job’s physical demands. Other assigned duties may also be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good communication, math, and statistical skills.
• Good mechanical skills and aptitude.

• Computer skills are helpful.

• Work in a safe manner.
