About The Position

CACI is seeking a UxS/C-UxS Maritime Domain Training Specialist to support JIATF401 with training and operational integration of UxS/C-UxS capabilities as it applies to the maritime domain. This role requires not only technical expertise but also the ability to operate at the senior level within the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) to ensure that UxS considerations are fully integrated into planning and execution. The Maritime Domain Training Specialist role requires a deep understanding of unmanned systems technology, training methodologies, and will assist with design, curriculum development, training, and operational guidance on UxS employment to enhance U.S. and coalition force readiness within the fixed site domain.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret SCI Clearance
  • MA/MS with 10+ years’ experience; BA/BS with 15+ years; AA/AS with 17+ years; or HS/GED with 19+ years.
  • Proven ability to apply MDMP at a senior level, including participation in planning conferences, COA development, and mission briefings.
  • Demonstrated experience instructing diverse audiences (junior through senior personnel) in a military training environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to brief and advise senior leaders during planning and execution.
  • Experience in pre-deployment training, FTX/LFX/VALEX events, and technical exchange exercises.
  • Domain specialization(s) include: Maritime operations (Navy Afloat and Army Watercraft).
  • Possess a high level of proficiency in UxS/C-UxS technologies, systems, operations, and adversarial TTPs.
  • Experience applying new technologies, emerging threats and adversarial TTPs into training programs.
  • Meet all program specific Aircrew Training Program (ATP) requirements.
  • Experience working in joint, interagency, and coalition environments.
  • Ability to complete CRC requirements and deploy greater than 60 days.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with COTS multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS platforms, including operational and hobbyist use.
  • FAA Part 107 Certification
  • Amateur Radio Technician License

Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom, hands-on/practical, and computer-based training to military and Government personnel on UxS components, operations, maintenance, and C-UxS TTPs.
  • Serve as a Training Specialist providing specialized instruction on C-UxS systems, operations, and maintenance within the maritime domain.
  • Conduct new equipment fielding and training events.
  • Assess user aptitude during all phases of training in accordance with Government specifications.
  • Adapts training delivery based on student proficiency levels and feedback.
  • Provide Red Threat training expertise by simulating adversary UxS TTPs to support pre-deployment familiarization.
  • Deliver operator and maintainer training on all system components and required procedures.
  • Assist with preparation of instructor materials (manuals, handouts, workbooks, completion certificates, course evaluation forms).
  • Identify vulnerabilities and assess threats posed by UxS, including TTPs related to reconnaissance and emplacement.
  • Operate multi-rotor and fixed-wing UxS platforms, including launch, recovery, pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks.
  • Deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations, including conflict zones, to disseminate relevant threat information and support training.
