About The Position

RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking experienced UXOSO's for a large project in Kwajalein Atoll. This opportunity is roughly 1-year in length. Work will commence in the fall of 2026. The UXOSO has direct responsibility and accountability for safety-related supervision of all UXO staff and all UXO Operations.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of EOD/UXO Experience.
2 years' experience as UXOSO
Significant experience in all aspects of munitions response actions or range clearance activities, as appropriate for the contracted operations.
Must be able to pass a background investigation
Must be able to pass a physical
Must have 40 Hour HAZWOPER
OSHA 30 Hour Construction Safety Course
OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Course
Must have current 8 Hour annual HAZWOPER Refresher (if applicable)
Must have valid U.S. driver's license
Graduate of a military EOD School of the United States. OR Graduate of military EOD school of Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or Australia. OR Graduate of a formal training course of instruction or EOD assistant courses.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to interpret and explain company policy concerning MEC safety practices to executives, managers, employees, and clients
Intermediate user level of computer systems; Microsoft office software (word, excel, outlook), inventory databases, and documentation control systems

Responsibilities

Determine precise location in field environment using a variety of techniques such as use of global positioning equipment, or basic land navigation techniques using topographical map and compass.
Conduct visual UXO and DMM field search activities.
Supervise and perform the on-site demilitarization of munitions debris.
Prepare required range maintenance administrative reports.
Prepare site-specific safety procedures for range clearance activities.
Prepare risk and hazards analyses.
Supervise the safety performance of all on-site UXO-related operations.
Inspect and certify and/or verify job site as safe for transfer.
