As a UX Research intern, you’ll work with the teams driving our product growth strategy, researching how users discover and adopt our expanding ecosystem of tools – including Calendar, Mail, and AI. Working alongside passionate experts across Product, Design, Data, and Engineering, you'll help build the tools that millions of people rely on to get their work done. This role is perfect for someone finishing their graduate studies who wants to take on impactful research projects at a company shaping the future of work.

  • At least one prior internship or substantial research experience that demonstrates your ability to work independently and deliver results
  • Available for a full-time internship from May–September 2026, with the ability to work onsite in our San Francisco office
  • Strong research craft: You can independently design and execute studies from start to finish. You understand the strengths and limitations of various qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g. user interviews, usability testing, surveys) and know when to apply each to deliver the right insights.
  • Effective communication: You can distill complex data into clear, coherent narratives and explain your insights to cross-functional partners, both in writing and verbally.
  • Team player: You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally to accomplish shared goals, and you care about learning, growing, and helping others to do the same.
  • Product and business sense: You understand how research connects to business outcomes and can prioritize what matters most.
  • Adaptive problem-solving: You can navigate uncertainty, adapt to shifting priorities, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
