We embrace best practices but are not afraid to break them. LANDR is looking for a UX Designer to join our UX team. Reporting directly to the Head of UX, you will work across multiple product areas in close collaboration with product managers and engineers. We are at a pivotal moment in how software is designed and built, and we are looking for a designer who embraces this shift. This role is for someone for whom AI tools are already a natural part of the creative process, and who understands that great design today is defined by what gets built, not what gets handed off. At LANDR, we treat Figma as a thinking pad to explore and align on ideas, not the final deliverable or source of truth; the code is. We expect our designers to understand this distinction and work accordingly: collaborating closely with engineers, using AI tools to bridge the gap when needed, and taking ownership of their work all the way to what actually gets built.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in a product design role, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX thinking, sharp visual craft and genuine taste.
An active and fluent use of AI tools as part of your design workflow, across ideation prototyping, and delivery.
Hands-on experience contributing to a production design system.
A collaborative mindset and genuine curiosity beyond the boundaries of design (product, engineering, marketing and business).
Knowledge of English is required, as the position involves working with an international team.

Nice To Haves

Experience designing AI-powered features, with an understanding of the UX considerations specific to generative and probabilistic systems.
Technical familiarity with front-end concepts and experience working in close partnership with engineering teams.
Experience designing for mobile applications.
A background as a musician or music producer, or a strong familiarity with the music industry and its tools

Responsibilities

Own design work across multiple product areas, from core features to innovative AI-native experiences, ensuring quality and consistency at every stage.
Use AI tools actively throughout the design process (ideation, prototyping and iteration) to accelerate output and explore a broader solution space.
Regularly engage with real users to test ideas, validate assumptions, and bring user insight directly into your design decisions.
Play an active role in evolving LANDR's design system, ensuring consistency and quality across the platform.
Articulate and defend design decisions with both craft and strategic thinking, communicating a clear vision to stakeholders and engineering teams.
