About The Position
Motorola Solutions is seeking a UX Designer to join their global UX team. This role will focus on designing the next generation of public safety applications, including on-device and peripheral display interfaces. The designer will collaborate to evolve processes and ensure design unity across the company. They will also work closely with researchers to understand user needs, conduct usability testing, and create wireframes, flows, and prototypes using industry best practices and tools to communicate design intent to stakeholders. This position allows for telecommuting 2 to 3 days per week.
Requirements
- Masters degree or Bachelors degree + 2 years experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global UX team to design next generation of public safety applications both on device and peripheral display interfaces
- Review concepts, evolve processes, and ensure unity across the company
- Work closely with experienced researchers to understand user needs and conduct usability testing
- Leverage industry best practices and tools to create wireframes, flows, and prototypes to communicate design intent to stakeholders
