About The Position

We are seeking a UX Designer for a 100% remote, 6+ month contract position. The role involves designing websites and implementing a new volunteer management system on the client's website, focusing on front-end experience for both volunteers and staff. The ideal candidate is passionate about user experience design, comfortable working independently, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web-based user interface design and user experience design
• 2+ years experience designing websites
• 3+ years of experience with creating storyboards, mockups and clickable prototypes
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Figjam
• Knowledge of infrastructure management functions and systems
• Understanding of system and technology alternatives
• Familiarity with the system development lifecycle
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; ability to deliver production-quality
• Proven research and analysis skills to test usability and preferential features with A/B testing
• Proficiency in design software
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX design projects with a focus on desktop and mobile applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts to stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Bachelor's degree in Design or other relevant field
