About The Position
Assist with daily operations of the Mechanical Engineering Capstone Lab/Maker Space, including care and operation of Maker Space equipment.
Requirements
- This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
Nice To Haves
- Preference will be given to students with demonstrated experience in welding, machining, 3D printing, and working with general manufacturing tools.
- This position is intended to be a multi-year position. Staff that perform will be encouraged to re-apply in following semesters.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring lab occupancy and ensuring safety and protocols are followed
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Instructing students on the proper use of lab tools and machinery
- Performing additional duties as needed
