Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leads are Physical Therapy students who facilitate weekly group study sessions in courses that they have successfully completed. SI Leads utilize collaborative learning techniques to ensure peer-to-peer interaction in small groups. They plan and implement weekly sessions that guide students through difficult course concepts and share strategies they and others used to be successful in the course. SI Leads are appointed for 1 semester and typically work 3-6 hours per week; frequency/duration to be determined before the semester begins and modified as needed to suit the needs of the learners and the availability of the SI Lead.
