About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Utilization Review Nurse / Discharge Planner with experience in Utilization Management. The role plays a critical part in patient care coordination, ensuring patients receive appropriate care throughout their stay. The position offers five guaranteed 8-hour shifts per week. Holiday coverage availability is required. Applicants are encouraged to explore housing within a 30-mile radius of the position, including Arcata, Eureka, McKinleyville, Blue Lake, Samoa, and Fortuna, California.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Utilization Management.
- Active California nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proof of a negative TB screening within the past 12 months.
- Availability for holiday coverage.
