Now Hiring a full-time Utilization Review Liaison at our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Indianapolis, IN.

Requirements

High School diploma/ GED required
Min. 1 year experience in treatment industry required
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Acute observational, collaboration, and leadership skills
Clinical intervention and de-escalation skills

Responsibilities

Coordinate between treatment team, facility staff, and utilization review (UR) department.
Collaborate with clinical/medical team on level-of-care placement, clinical clarification, and addressing UR notes.
Partner with insurance for single case agreements, peer reviews, precertification, and concurrent reviews.
Support client UR needs with the Client Care Advocate (insurance forms, coverage lapses, payor/employer calls).
Manage facility-to-corporate UR communication (admissions, level-of-care changes, discharge adherence).
Monitor clinical operations and communication to identify gaps, errors, and process improvements with leadership.
Conduct chart audits for compliance, billing accuracy, insurance alignment, and discharge review.
Track and follow up on missing chart items to ensure accountability and quality assurance.
