About The Position
Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital is seeking an empathetic and dedicated Utilization Review Coordinator to join their team. This role is crucial in overseeing the Utilization Review Program, implementing case management scenarios, and consulting with various services to ensure effective treatment plans for patients. The UR Coordinator will also manage responses to service requests and interface with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors, making a significant impact on the mental well-being of individuals.
Requirements
- Degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required
- A minimum of three (3) years direct clinical experience in a psychiatric or mental health treatment setting
- One year of managing a related function preferred
- Experience in patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning
- Experience in communication with external review organizations or comparable entities
Nice To Haves
- LSW, LPS, LCSW, or LCPC or applicable Illinois license preferred
