About The Position
Assists in the production of aluminum extrusions by performing the following duties: 1. Off-Loading Metal at Finishing Saw a. Assists and follows instructions of Operator ‘B’ b. Performs any task assigned by Supervisor c. Follows safe work procedures
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract numerically.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Must pass oral, written, physical forklift operator training to obtain license.
- Regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
- Occasionally required to walk, sit and climb or balance.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
