About The Position

The Utility Team Member supports kitchen and service operations by ensuring all dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation tasks are completed to the highest standard. This behind-the-scenes role is essential for keeping workstations, prep areas, and equipment clean, safe, and functional. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

Requirements

• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass an airport background check and qualify for badging.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen or food service setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a dish or utility role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, and pans according to safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, work surfaces, and equipment.
• Remove trash and recyclables regularly, following airport and company waste disposal guidelines.
• Refill cleaning supplies and monitor dish area for proper stock of detergents and tools.
• Ensure compliance with all health and sanitation standards.
• Support other kitchen staff during busy periods, including basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to leadership immediately.
