About The Position

This position must be capable of performing all jobs in the First Processing area. Keep evisceration floors clean, give breaks, sanitize knives and gloves, keep tables and racks clear of birds and any other duties assigned. Fill in as needed per supervisor. This position will be responsible for filling any daily staffing needs in the First Processing area. Utility will report to production management at the beginning of each shift and await job assignment.

Requirements

Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively.
Must have 3 months Operator experience within the last 12 months documented within your applications work history and/or resume. Can be a combination of employers as long as it is within the past 12 months or your application will not be reviewed.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Perform all jobs in the First Processing area.
Keep evisceration floors clean.
Give breaks.
Sanitize knives and gloves.
Keep tables and racks clear of birds.
Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
Fill in as needed per supervisor.
Fill any daily staffing needs in the First Processing area.
Report to production management at the beginning of each shift and await job assignment.
Perform a variety of production and support roles within the assigned department.
Operate machinery, tools, and equipment as required.
Complete Tyson paperwork accurately.
Communicate with plant management, supervisors, and other team members in person and via radio.
Provide relief breaks and cover staffing needs as assigned.
Follow safety, quality, and production standards.
Be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures.
