Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • All environmental, health and safety, housekeeping, quality, plant and production standards, procedures, rules and policies must be followed at all times.
  • Demonstrate good housekeeping practices and perform required housekeeping.
  • Communicate with supervision as required to promote an efficient and effective operation.
  • Care will be taken to ensure Zero damage to product during the manufacturing process.
  • Assist shipping with pre shipment inspections and documentation
  • Fabricate and assemble jobs as specified in the production documentation and sales order specification sheet.
  • Fabricate product on slitters.
  • Slit or cut the product, measure first piece to ensure quality.
  • Document specifications on the assembly quality sheet accurately.
  • Assemble product on conveyer line through an adhesive coater.
  • Position runners, blocks and feed through the compression deck and stack finished units.
  • Cut product on slitter as specified on the production documentation and sales order specification sheet and stack on pallets.
  • Ensure that each pallet has the correct quantity and is identified accurately with the load tag with the date of manufacture, shift number, and pallet number.
  • Slit runners to specified size, apply glue, wrap around runner and feed through compression deck.
  • Apply pressure sensitive adhesive to runners and decks, apply release liner to panels and cut to size.
  • Inspect work to ensure job specifications, dimensions and adhesive qualities are maintained.
  • Communicate to the Team Leader and or Supervisor of unusual material or equipment problems.
  • Read product information sheet or visually identify warehouse materials used to construct product in warehouse area.
  • Assist with tasks in other departments as needed.
