About The Position

Utility Workers play a critical role in keeping production running smoothly at Niles Steel Tank (a Bradford White company). This is a hands-on position supporting multiple areas of the plant and serves as a great entry point for long-term growth in manufacturing. The role involves performing essential tasks to ensure operations run efficiently in a clean, safety-focused environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of manufacturing or industrial labor preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to read basic blueprints is a plus
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented
• Physically capable of hands-on work
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks
• Stand, bend, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift
• Comfortable working around steel, heat, sharp edges, and chemicals
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork

• Ability to read basic blueprints

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, paint, and clean materials
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Assist with layout, drilling, and basic fitting tasks
• Conduct air and hydro pressure testing
• Support jacketing, topcoat, and shipping areas
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
