About The Position

As a UTILITY WORKER, the essential duties & responsibilities will include: General housekeeping, including but not limited to, sweeping and keeping assigned area clean. Adheres to all safety and process requirements. Maintains awareness and adheres to all GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines. Inform supervisor immediately of any hazards, unsafe equipment and/or acts. Additionally, reports immediately any accidents, injuries and near misses to supervisor. Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by complying with all department and plant safety policies regarding the use of hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment. Work in teams by maintaining good communication and cooperation with other department operators and management in order to achieve efficient production processes in all areas. Operate basic equipment, limited to portable pumps, Be able to use basic tools, including but not limited to, shovels, brooms, pressure washers, and other hand tools. Supplying materials to the production areas. Able to temporarily step up to a production worker when needed ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Requirements

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to climb stairs.
  • Must be able to work at heights.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
