About The Position

AMPORTS is a leading provider of port-based automotive and logistics services supporting customers across the United States. The Finance team supports accurate, timely financial processing and reporting at corporate and facility levels, enabling operational continuity and strong internal controls. Summary/Objective Perform general maintenance on vehicles as they process through the operation.

Requirements

  • Effective communicator in listening, writing, and verbal.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Punctual and dependable person.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic personal computer skills.
  • Must be able to obtain TWIC badge

Nice To Haves

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use jump cables on vehicles to restart.
  • Charge high and low voltage cars.
  • Perform tire pressure checks on cars.
  • Install solar panels for car charge.
  • Scan car locations.
  • Responsible for vehicle maintenance.
  • Maintain solar panels.
