About The Position

Taher, Inc. is seeking a Utility Worker for a K-12 school lunch management position. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, assisting with food service operations, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. The position offers day hours with no nights or weekends, providing a strong work-life balance.

Requirements

Able to follow oral and written directions
Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Able work in standing position for long periods of time
Punctual and dependable
Follows food safety requirements and guidelines
Self-starter that can work independently
Must pass criminal background check

Responsibilities

Scrape, wash and put away dishes, pots, pans, and utensils as required either by hand or with dish machine
Sweep and mop floors, by hand or with machine as needed
Wash tables walls, coolers, trash receptacles, etc., as required
Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
Maintain clean work environment
Assists other team members as needed
Be on time
Maintain assigned work station in a safe and sanitary condition
Maintain acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code
Other tasks as assigned by the leadership team
