About The Position
Washes, repairs, and performs limited painting duties to clean, cover, or protect interior and exterior container surfaces. Performs minor container repairs, including axle repair or replacement; moves containers within the yard; loads and unloads new and used containers from trucks; and monitors container inventory. The role is designated as safety sensitive and requires strict compliance with safety rules and protocols. The successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Four years of relevant work experience.
- Strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols.
- Have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative if business travel by air or access to federal property is required.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders or receive supervisor instructions regarding minor painting and repairs on assigned containers.
- Perform minor container repairs, such as axle repair or replacement.
- Wash container interiors or exteriors as needed.
- Move containers within the yard.
- Load and unload new and used containers from trucks.
- Perform minor painting duties.
- Monitor the site’s container inventory.
- Perform general duties and responsibilities as required.
