The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is seeking Utility Worker IIs to join their Wastewater Management Division team and support essential city services. This role involves performing semi-skilled and light to heavy physical labor on various construction, maintenance, and repair projects for new and existing sanitary and storm structures. The position requires working in and around traffic, assisting with sanitary jetting (including lifting and pulling open manholes up to 120lbs and potentially entering manholes with training), and assisting with Vac Trucks by lifting grates (up to 220lbs) and removing debris. Additionally, the role includes placing and removing traffic control devices, participating in snow removal, and assisting equipment operators with inspections.
