Requirements

High school diploma or GED
A valid Georgia driver's license

Nice To Haves

CDL license or driving experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred
Experience with recycling, building services, janitorial, trash collection, and grounds experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assists in set up and participates in campus sustainability events such as Earth Week, Recyclemania, Move-in, and Move-Out
Drives university vehicles and walks buildings to collect recycling from assigned loading docks and buildings; including operating compactor truck and collecting cardboard.
Operates vertical baler and forklift to bale and store paper and plastic fil; operates paper shredder to shred confidential documents.
Removes recyclables from truck and sorts them at Recycling Center into correct location; plays a key role in keeping this area clean, safe, and functional.
Drives university vehicles to haul materials to designated off-campus locations.
Completes work orders in a timely fashion; provides excellent customer service and maintains a collaborative and positive working relationship.
Performs other duties as assigned.
